Zempleo Celebrates National Staffing Employee Week 2021
Staring Monday, September 13th begins National Staffing Employee Week. The week has been promoted by the American Staffing Association and was meant to recognize the millions of temporary and contract employees. Throughout this week, staffing firms nationwide will host events honoring their employee to show appreciation for all their hard work.
The staffing industry was first established in the 1940s during World War II. As employees were leaving to fight overseas, businesses were struggling to fill their open positions that were left behind by the soldiers. The staffing agencies were established as the need to find employees to fill these positions were urgent. And it continued on, and as of today there are about 53,000 Staffing/Employment services helping workers throughout the United States finding temporary and permanent work. And these staffing firms employ around 6.3 million people.
Starting Monday – September 13th – we will be celebrating our employees by hosting a virtual raffle. We will be sending our temporary employees an email on Monday to enter to be one of the 3 lucky winners to win a CASH prize.
